Suspense and horror flash fiction writer, Oren Shafir is also a standup comedian, former Premier League footballer, and volunteer at Doctors Without Borders.But seriously, in addition to freaky flash fiction, Oren has written short stories, musical comedies (with Thune Lindberg), a radio play, short films, poetry and an essay in the first grade about the baby chicks in the classroom, which his Mom's cousin Arna really liked. In addition, he is the recipient of a European Association for Jewish Culture performing arts grant and a finalist in both the Bnai Brith national university student writing contest and the Glimmer Train short fiction writing contest.
Oren is currently participating in the UCLA online feature screenwriting certificate program.
